Our receipt printer is not working


  1. Make sure the LED is lit to make sure the receipt printer is not turned off or broken. 

  2. Make sure there is enough paper in the printer and that the paper roll is installed correctly. The shiny side of the paper should face down or toward you as shown in the picture:

If the steps above does not solve the issue, follow the steps below to restart the printer:

  1. Log out of BRP

  2. Turn off the receipt printer (there is a switch on the side or in the front of the printer)

  3. Close BRP Hardware Proxy by right clicking on the icon in the lower right corner and press “Exit”

  1. Start BRP Hardware Proxy (press the Windows key and search for BRP hardware Proxy)

  1. Turn on the receipt printer

  2. Log in to BRP
