NETS Trace ID

Information from NETS regarding Recurring Card Payments:

We at Nets want to clarify the email communication regarding “Dummy Trace ID” that was sent out on the 23rd of October. 

Some of the customers’ credit cards that you store for the purpose of running the monthly memberships/subscriptions may lack a valid “trace id” (towards the issuer/card scheme.) This means that these credit cards are lacking the compliant authentication identifier to be able to run the subsequent payments each month. 

 

Stored cards lacking this authentication identifier face a higher risk for declines from November 13th and onwards. You're advised to instruct the end-users to re-register their cards with you as the subscription provider. 

If you are currently using NetAxept we advice you to contact BRP support to look at other alternatives.
