Setups is the name for long-term plans. For example, a 14-day setup with different tasks and content scheduled across the days of the setup. Setups can be brought to life with automated greetings sent on specific days and messages sent when clients complete a specific task. A setup can include workout sessions, but also tasks, tests, and greetings. Here, you will learn how to build great setups that you can then save in your library and use in many different ways.
If you have created a setup and saved it in your library, you can then use it in many different ways. If you work with PT clients, you can activate one of your setups in a client’s calendar. You can also use the setup within group coaching to deliver the setup’s content to everyone participating in the group coaching. Finally, you can add the setup to digital products that your clients can purchase or activate from your shop, or if they have purchased it via a campaign page. This could, for example, be training programs that clients can start whenever they want, or bootcamps with fixed start dates. All of these formats are based on a setup, and if you can build good setups, you can create and offer great products through Twiik Coach.
Create a setup
You should create setups under “Library” (read more here) if you believe the setup may be reused in any format in the future.
Go to “Library > Setups”
Choose a name for your setup. The name is only visible to you and should clearly indicate what it contains.
Choose the number of days the setup should include.
Create
You will now enter a view where you see a panel with a list of days corresponding to the number you selected when creating the setup.
Add content to your setup
Click “Add” to the right of a day to add content to that day. You will now see several different formats you can add. Below is a brief explanation of what the formats mean, but you should read more about the different formats and how to use them under “Create content.”
Workouts
Strength training:
This format allows you to add exercises with sets, reps, weights, and timers that clients can then follow in the app.
Cardio:
Here you can create sessions primarily focused on cardio activities, where you can specify distance, pace, etc.
Other
Tasks:
A task can be anything that is not meant to be a regular workout session. For example, “Walk to work today” or similar. Text, video, audio, and PDFs can be added. Tasks can be marked as completed by the user.
Tests:
Schedule a test to allow the user to answer questions and enter test values such as body weight, plank duration, or anything else you want to track over time.
Greetings:
Schedule a greeting to be sent.
Note
A setup has numbered days divided into weeks to make it clearer. However, Day 1 only corresponds to a Monday if you choose to start the setup on a Monday when you use it in a specific context. If the setup is used in a program that clients can start whenever they want, Day 1 may fall on different weekdays depending on when each client chooses to start the program. Keep this in mind when naming content and writing messages, as a specific day in the setup does not always necessarily correspond to a specific weekday.
